Dr. Aerwen Stagers

Doctor Aerwen Stagers started her journey as a child in Seward, Alaska where she learned to love the outdoors and love each day rain or shine.  She spent a part of her childhood in Swaziland, Africa participating in medical and agricultural mission work.  Each new journey brought about an increased awareness of the world and her desire to connect with people and provide compassionate care.

She went on to graduate from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2010.  She moved to Vermont and attended the Fletcher Allen General Practice Residency Program in 2011.

She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Vermont State Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is laser certified through the Academy of Laser Dentistry.

When not working Dr. Aerwen Stagers can usually be found spending time with her husband and three children.  They enjoy boating on the Waterbury Reservoir in the summer, skiing at Smugs in the winter and biking all year round.

Diane – Receptionist

Diane is an extremely experienced dental care coordinator who has been with the practice for many years. She is able to offer expert help with all your scheduling and financial needs.

When she is not at the office she enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs.

Rachel – Receptionist

Rachel joined the practice in 2020 and has been a wonderful part of the team ever since.  She comes with a wealth of dental and insurance knowledge to aid in any questions you may have.  After work you can find Rachel spending time with her family, camping and playing with her cats.

Carrie TDA

Carrie has been with the practice for many years. She offers kind caring support to Dr. Stagers while you are having your dental procedure completed. Carrie enjoys spending time with her two children, gardening and listening to live music.

Robin EFDA CDA

Robin joined the practice in 2019. She is a Las Vegas Institute trained expanded functions dental assistant with 25 years of experience. She has a special skill set for esthetic dentistry and loves making teeth beautiful. She has a wonderful sense of humor and the ability to make patients feel comfortable during their treatments. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her son and baking.


Jenny EFDA, CDA

Jenny joined the practice in 2018. She is an expanded functions dental assistant with over 20 years experience. Jenny has a unique passion for dentistry and the new technology that can be incorporated into a dental practice. Out of the office Jenny enjoys nature, looking for mushrooms, moss or just walking in the woods with her two boys.

Amy RDH

Amy comes to the practice with over two decades of experience in dental hygiene. She cares deeply about her patients and their dental health. In addition to her traditional hygiene training she has continued to expand and is certified in laser hygiene. She enjoys seeing the benefits laser bacterial reduction does for her patients in conjunction with routine care. Out of the office Amy enjoys spending time with her daughter, and enjoying the outdoors.

Amanda W. RDH

Dental Hygienist/ Myofunctional Therapist

Amanda Woods is a Registered Dental Hygienist of 22 years. She enjoys helping her patients establish dental disease prevention plans and encouraging patients who have active dental disease establish and  maintain their dental health. She has years of advanced training in Periodontal Hygiene with experience of working in Periodontal Practices. She loves working with little ones and helping guide them to set  their future dental health practices. 

She is the owner of Be MYO Well,  an oral myofunctional practice in South Burlington Vermont and beyond with her ability to use Telemedicine to treat her patient in other states and countries. She has been a Myofunctional Trainer and Buteyko Breathing Coach for over three years. Amanda found Myofunctional Therapy through seeking out help for her son’s airway development concerns and mental health needs that were tied to a sleep airway crisis.

She has since been fascinated with the world of grinding, clenching, cranial facial development challenges, Temporal Mandibular Joint Dysfunction, sleep disordered breathing pattern concerns, and how to find the treatment modalities to help her patients fix these concerns long term. This field of study is always advancing with ever changing research and she dedicates many hours to continued education classes a year. 

Amanda has been married for 13 years and is a mom of 2 boys. She enjoys her weekends playing with her family, hiking, swimming, and biking.

Amanda A. RDH, BS,BA

Amanda A. comes to the practice with a wealth of knowledge and compassion. She has a Bachelors of Arts in psychology from Saint Michael’s College and a Bachelors of Science in hygiene from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health sciences. Amanda is both anesthesia certified as well as laser certified. She takes great care with each of her patients and looks forward to helping you with your periodontal health.
